We all know that there are 4 teams remaining in the NFL in the hunt for the most prized world championship in the NFL, the Lombardi Trophy.
Patriots vs Colts -- AFC Championship
Saints vs Bears -- NFC Championship
Who do you think will win the World Series and why? Also, you do you think will win each of these matches next week and why?
My predictions are that the Patriots will defeat the Colts and the Saints will defeat the Bears, and the Patriots will go and win it all this year once again? Why do I think this way?
Look at the Saints vs Eagles game. Did you see how aggresive Reggie Bush was in that game? Reggie will take the Saints to the top this year and win the NFC championship. Also, the Bears barely won the game. They had to wait until OT to win it by only 3 points.
In the AFC, I choose the Patriots over the Colts, because the Patriots vs Chargers game was actually kinda exciting. The Patriots actually scored some TD's and there was some back-to-back action.

I mean, could you believe how boring the Colts vs Ravens game was last on Saturday? #4 Vin of the Colts won the whole game by HIMSELF kicking 5 sucessful FG's to win it 15-6. I can't even start to say how boring that game was with no TD action. Also, the Colts aren't doing as well as they used to. They are 15-4 and though you could actually agree that the Patriots are also 15-4, you could kinda expect that from them, but not from Peyton Manning. By the way, the Patriots defeated Merriman, Gates, and the AMAZING SPECTACULAR LADANIAN TOMLINSON (LT)!!! The Patriots deserve the Lombardi Trophy for defeating LT!

I love this question!! You sound like a true sports fan.
I have a hunch that some underdog team will pull off a win in the World Series this year. I think that the age of the Yankees and some other generally powerful teams is fading so I think a lot of teams have a shot. One power that does have a good shot at a World Series title- the Mets.
In the Pats Colts game I have the Pats to win it all. I'm a huge Pats fan so I'm probably extremely biased but even so... The Colts have gotten away with some bad games, but that level of play won't fly with the Pats, Peyton will choke, Vinatari (traitor!! cough cough) will too, and the Pats will get lucky.
In the NFC the Grossman will fail, Bush will go nuts and the Saints will get lucky and win a close one. Period. Sadly, I believe the cinderella Saints will not prevail against the Pats and they will take it all again.
In short, I agree with your predictions.

I think both championship games come down to home field advantage. If it were at Gillete, I would take the Pats, but in the RCA Dome, I take the Colts. Same in the NFC. If it was played in the Superdome, I'd go with the Saints, but since it's at Soldier Field, I'm going with the Bears. But believe me, I would love to see the Saints win the Superbowl after Katrina. And I've said it before and I'll say it again: EVERY TEAM IN THE AFC BESIDES OAKLAND WOULD BEAT THE BEST TEAM IN THE NFC. So I'm taking Indy over Da Bears. 28-10

World Series? and the pats didnt beat LT they beat the Chargers..LT had 123 yards and 2 TDs and 2 rec. for 64 yards, he shoke every defensive player that game...the Chargers beat themselves going for it on 4th and 11 when they could have tryed the feild goal, fumbling on punt returns, and fumbling it after getting an INT, I dont think you watched the game or if you did understood what was happening....and i want anyone to win except for the Pats, ive always dis liked them and i hope Manning can finally get past them....but i think NO has the best chance...

Any one of these teams can win it all.It all depends on which teams comes to pay.They can have all the talent ,but if their heads are not in it ,they can loose to anyone.You can see by the playoff games already completed that anything can happen.Stats are good ,but not the sure thing in football or any other sport as far as that is concerned.People get bent out of shape that only their team can win.It sure makes them look stupid when they loose,doesn't it.
