Today at school some kid came up to me and said, "Do you blow up buildings and stuff?"
I was extreamly mad this not only goes for me but others...
Jewish, Africans, and everyone...
I deeply follow the words of MLK in his speech, "I have a dream"
Is this how people react today?
What would you do to that boy who asked you, "Do you blow buildings up?"

It is really hard when people show such ignorance. But if you follow the words of the great DR.King then you must realize that it is best to educate then to hate.
All races have fears and judgements inside of them that is what makes us all human.
Personally I would have to take it from the fact that he hears stories and maybe watches the news. Being as such all he hears is that muslims do this and muslims do that. The news does not do enough to explain the difference. The muslims in iraq that support Al-Qaeda are radical extemists. Just like in every religion there are some that go to no end to propagate thier word of God (Allayah). Muslims are not the only ones with radicals.
So I would have said "no my faith does not tolerate this. But I can explain to you the difference".

actually, i totally understand. i am asian(thai) and people in my school come up to me and say choppy words like ching fung ning. it is really annoying. no one deserves to have people make fun of thier race. if you need to talk to someone you can always email me at amaya6villa9@yahoo.com. if anyone makes fun of your race say so? im human and we're all pink inside. good luck!
