On Monday i bought a RM20.00 ticket (card) at Bukit Jalil station and i used that card to get in. When my destination arrived, that at Hang Tuah station, my card did'nt work. Then stuck to the 20.00 card was another card. So i used that card to get out. I had an extra card i forgot about. Then after work i arrived at the Hang Tuah station but the 20.00 card didnt work. So i took my card and asked the officer there to check. Then she said i made a mistake by using another card to get out when i reached the H.Tuah station in the morning. Then she said this card you cant use. Burn la ! She said. I was schocked was it cost me 20.00 and i used it only once and now i had to but another card. I was a bit angry. I asked her cant you activate the card back. She said yes she can but i had to pay 5.00 to activate it. So i had no choice but to pay her 5.00. When i told my friends what happen they said by right the officer should not have asked me for 5.00. They should just activate the card back.

They said i was conned by the officer. I just would like to know from those who takes the LRT is this true? Are they suppose to charge the passenger's extra to activate their problem card (ticket). Thanks

Lar...so pity on you..i'm pretty sure you have been conned by that idiot lrt ppl..why must they charge ppl when its their card is at fault...you must stand out and make a fuss..speak to any of their superior..demand to them that its not your fault..NEVER think that just becoz of $5, u want to kecoh..just paylah.. NO!...if its happen to other 10 people a day,tak ke sedap je those lrt ppl dapat $50 extra buta2..do they give you any receipt stated for the $5 penalty? if so that is your proof..keep it..stand up for yourself..demand for their apology and insist that they compensate you something or else you tell them you will report to the press or anything that can associate them with..

i sincerely hope that i can help you out on this..good luck..my friend!

Yep, the two girls above me are correct. If the card was at fault they should not have charged you $5 to re-set it. Dont let these people try to bully you, if you stand up and fight this one you could be saving other people from this con as well, as already mentioned.

Fight them dear, we all support you!

I think BO$$ must be too busy with his new strip club, hehehe!

If it's any consolation you have been given the first star in this section!

Your mistake was to use "another card" to get out.
Their mistake was not reactivating the card you bought; it is inappropriate to pay anything more to enable the card.

Recourse: highlight the issue with the local press.

through my experience, when I’m having problem with the ticket, they never ask me for money...but I think Myra is right. You better make fuss about it...at least, it won't happen again to you or others

it happened to me before when i first use their Touch N'Go card service at LRT stations but i have since stopped using it coz it gives me plenty of problems rather than convenience. i'm now using their monthly travel card (MTC) of MYR 125.00. simple & easy to use & best of all, no queues, tak perlu beratur!!

Some people just don't deserve the jobs given to them. They are suppose to be friendly & helpful, not bullying & conning people.

its not your fault, so you should not pay for it..
its the machine's fault, and as the machine is their's, so they are the one who need to pay for it..in this case, they need to activate the card free-of-charge for you and apologize for the trouble they caused you..
