Tactfully and discreetly ask the teacher if you can switch desks. Create a plausible explanation if anyone asks. (e.g. I need to be by the window for more light. I needed to be closer to the black board to see better. I needed to move away from a vent because of allergies.)

For yourself, pour a tiny bit of Febreze into a small, unmarked mister & spray your clothes after class. (http://www.homemadesimple.com/en_US/febreze/fabric_refresher.do)

BTW, whole, roasted coffee beans are handy for clearing your nose.

Good luck!

even as those were all good solutions... the first actual answer is so very right on the money. I had friends that were airborne dirt and dirt undesirable, with 3 childrens. It did not help that they were completely wrapped up of their own B.S. 1/2 the time, they wore an same outfits 4-5 days out of the week, and showers were minimum. once a week at perfect. genuinely communicate as a chum. Its no longer something that you'll't talk about as a chum attempting to help yet another. Take them living house with yours, and convinced... the present basket idea is positive with some body sprays and deodorats from lengthy's or Walgreens. Ask your mom which could also help you with this example. you're a robust chum. Kudos to you...

Well there is a few things you can do. One if your willing to you can buy her the spray from bath and body works and maybe even get her some lip gloss just say its a late Christmas present because you couldn't find it until now or if you know where her locker is you can put in a cheap stick of deodorant and she will never know that you put it in there and she might get the hint, but another thing that you can do is tell the teacher privatly, ask him/her to talk to her about it or just ask if you can move seats if you dont want to say why just make something up like you cant see the bored! hope that helped!

Don't slip a stick of deodorant near her or anything! That's really rude, and can scar that girl for life. She'll be so embarrassed. What you need to do is lean next to her, make sure no one's paying attention, and whisper to her the problem. Don't be rude, don't crack a smile, nothing. Be really nice, and after you confront the situation, still act like a friend to her. Don't ignore her. And most importantly- DO NOT tell anyone what happened or gossip about her.

Ask your teacher, but be nice...say it in a nice way. Be like "hey teacher! can I talk to you for a second?" then wait till like everyone leaves the classroom, and then be like "Um, I kinda have a problem with (insert girls' name in here). She's really nice and all, but she kinda' smells, and I was wondering if you could move me. I mean, I hate to do this, but I can't really stand it." I hope that works, that's what I would do. I've had this problem before, but I just got over it.

Talk to the teacher and tell her the problem after class. Then try asking her to move to another seat.

Situations like this are best handled delicately. Maybe get her some sort of gift basket with body wash, deodorant that type of thing. Maybe even have the gift delivered anonymously.

Tell the teacher first. that's the best thing to do. that happened to me this year and i told the teacher and she put him next to a friend so they wouldn't notice. Good Luck!
