15+ years as a science fair "director"...
I'm the one to whom the judges give their assessments, I determine the ribbon color-in other words...

so...........

NO!!!!!!! not without a LOT more information

expand your thinking....the "most" consumed fruit ....

where? are you comparing geographical areas???
by price? are you comparing economic patterns???
who? are you comparing males with females??
or teens with adults...etc etc etc
which? are you comparing fresh with canned? etc etc etc

Be advised that no matter how you "expand" project, that without the statistics to give a mathematical basis for your thesis...it's NOTHING....if you don't know which stats to use or how to use them....ask your science teacher/math teacher to provide them...
AT LEAST an anova test and/or a chi-squared test...

surveys -of any and all kinds- are NOTHING without the stat to back them up....
a "report" of the mere facts of consumption is not science, it is an essay....

Yes, because it could be like a survey thing with charts and percentages my friend once did one on comparison of batteries in the same flashlight and diapers how much water they soaked each

That's more like a survey. It would be hard to do as well, as different areas have different fruits available for consumtion.
