An Ellipse is a path followed by a celestial body while in orbit of a larger mass that has a larger gravity well. The path itself is oval this is caused by the gravitational pull exerted on the object. An Eclipse is a phenomenon caused by two celestial bodies (three if you want to count the place your watching it from) with one passing in front of the other. The most common ones are lunar and solar eclipses.

An ellipse is a shape not dissimilar to an oval. An eclipse is the total obstruction of one object by another, in the case of astronomy this can be the moon on the sun or the earth on the moon. Other kinds are possible but these are the most common.
