The jury evaluated the evidence and said "not guilty". If the question refers to his book then Simpson's book may be tacky but "if i did it" deals with one chapter that is hypothetical and labeled fiction - a great part of the book likely is Simpson defending himself against false allegations. The book does not contain a confession nor does the chapter contain the actual attack by whoever committed the crime. Possibly the "If i did it" title and chapter was decided by the publisher for the sensational value which they thought would translate into higher book sales. It was the publisher who brought the deal to Simpson and offered the money. The rare opportunity to earn any income was likely taken to help provide for his family members - Simpson is paying the costs to put his kids through college etc. OJ has always maintained his innocence.

The world knew it when he led the L.A. police on that slow "chase" on the L.A. freeways . He should be forced to sell everything he owns to pay restitution to the Brown's & Goldman's even if he has to live in a hut . And that would be too good for him .

Yes O.J. is guilty & I think everyone in America knows it. Now he's trying to say his ghostwriter is the one who wrote the chapter about how he would have done "it". Lies & trying to blame others. I guess he still thinks he can convince folks of his innocence.

Of course he's guilty.......and the jury that let him off should be totally ashamed of themselves. They were giving him thumbs up and everything.....bunch of idiots. I wonder what they are thinking now???

yes I think he was guilty all along, he knew far too much about the murders not to be innocent.

I cant get why he is getting away with the crime though, when its obvious he did it, even now.
