The UWC statement truly applies to me in ways unexplainable. For example, I have always been the girl in my classes to unite all the different personalities. In my small town of Steubenville, there are many gorups of young teenagers who just associate with themselves. I did not discover this until I started highschool. Watching the many television shows and movies, I tried not to believe that higher incomed girls acually looked upon other less fortunate girls or boys wanted the girls who seemed to be more open to sex. I have repeatedly tried my absolute hardest at bringing together the great deal of backgrounds in my community, knowing they all would not be succesful. The passion I have for making peace in my country or another nation cannot be taken away, even if I am not accepted as a candidate for UWC. Knowing that submiting this application gives me a chance to change my life and I will expectantly change the lives of many others.
