It's probably hormonal due to your age. You are a "hormone cocktail" right now, and this, sometimes, may contribute to your body emitting peculiar odors. Use a good DEODORANT SOAP down there, and wash thoroughly!

Sweetie,

If you've been to the doctor and your doctor says you are fine, than you are.

So to give you a little lesson on our body...

Females tend to have unusual odors during different times of the month...our bodies are very unique! Some times the smell is stronger around our periods.

The only thing I can suggest is to bathe every day! Ask your mom to buy you "feminine wash for sensitive skin" from Summers Eve. Or ask her to buy you some feminine wipes to use once in awhile. This may give you a little more confidence.

Also try drinking water more, water helps to flush out our bodies

BUT Don't douche, you can get an infection. Do not use perfume either, you can get an infection that way too!

When you were at the doctors office, did you ask them about the odor? We all have a different smell to us. This may just be your natural scent. Diet and hormones can have an effect also. Some foods, aparagus for example, can change the smell of your urine. Also, keep this in mind, even though this probably stands out to you and you may think "everyone can smell me"... this is not true. If you have good hygiene, (shower daily, change undies daily, wipe front to back, so on) you can be pretty sure no one else can smell you. Also, at your age your body is going through changes and this "odor" may just be so new to you that it smells "wrong", it may be very normal.

Try a deodorant spray or baby powder. I have a feeling that because of your age, it is a hormonal puberty issue. As long as your doc has ruled out an infection, it should pass. I think it is the changing levels of hormones in your body changing your "chemistry". Your body probably doesn't know what is happening. If you keep clean you will be just fine.

Good Luck hon.

Why not purchase some feminine wipes and carry them with you where ever you go. It could be that you are just sweaty and are giving off a musky smell. A few washes during the day should help. If it continues i would tell my gyn to do some tests on me.

Try taking a bath. When taking a bath, water is able to get up there. This hopefully will help get the smell out. I do it everytime mine starts to smell.
