NOT at all!
In fact I think it shows us that the word terrorists should not be so exclusively thought of as muslims.
For instance, episode one of season 6 had a young muslim looking fellow trying to get on a bus, but due to stereotyping, the bus driver declined his entry. The bus ended up exploding.
I think the writers are trying to say terrorists can come from anywhere, not just our pre-meditated stereotypes.
Many seasons of 24 have focused on terrorists NOT from muslim decent.
Look at Timothy McVeigh, was he a muslim?
Weren't the IRA from ireland considered some of the worst terrorists before 9/11?

It's a TV show. Period. I think if you're gonna have a show regarding terrorism, you're gonna have to have some of the plot lines revolve around muslims if you want to make a realistic show. But if you watch, deeper into the season, it seems like it usually turns out to be americans behind it all. It's just a show. I've never missed an episode. It is for entertainment purposes. Not to "push an agenda". I think that more people need to look at it that way.
Just today, I hear that some in the media are complaining that "they set off a nuke". "It will give the terrorists ideas". Come on I'm sure that real terrorists are trying to find a way to do just that. I doubt a show gave them the idea.
Sorry to rant like that. But people should use common sense when it comes to a TV show.

they don't promote hate towards anyone, they depict the truth.
what did you see on 24 that wasn't accurate?
if you watched the last 2 nights, all of that could happen and very well may and actually some of it already has.
24 is exactly the world we live in today, it's too bad we don't have a President David Palmer or a Jack Bauer that we can depend on...

I don't watch it, and I really have no desire to. It's not that it's bad or anything, it's just not my cup of tea. However, I remember one episode of Criminal Minds that potrayed the Muslims and their way of thinking. It was outraging, yet true the whole way through. I don't hate all Muslims, but the majority of them are EVIL. And it doesn't take a TV show to tell me that.

no, it's not promoting hatred. It's just a show that like to make scenarios about all the terrorists and all that. It's a great show.
