Does anybody know a step by step guide of how to popular and/or famous? Please tell me the title and author. I KNOW THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A REALLY STUPID QUESTION BUT MY FRIEND ASKED ME TO DO THIS FOR HER. SHE REALLY WANTS THE STEP BY STEP GUIDE.

Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" is the classic guide to popularity.
....However, I think your friend would be better served by getting comfortable inside her own skin, so to speak, so she doesn't care if she's popular or not. Popularity and happiness don't necessarily go together.

I suggest she listen to the song "Naked and Famous" by the Presidents of the United States. Secondly, she should slap herself.
If she has to use a guide to be popular then she is not being herself. Screw what people think. Treasure the friends who like you for who you are. Popularity is an empty thing unless people know and value you for who you are.
As for fame, it results from a combination of pure chance, determination, physical attractiveness and talent. Actually, scrap talent. I look at the popular music industry today and just shake my head...
