One of my sims just grew up into an adult woman. Her aspiration is to be popular. She has always been dressed normally. After she grew up, she is shown always in a bunny costume. When I select "sleep in pajamas" it is still a bunny costume. When she gets out of the shower, automatically, she is back in bunny costume. Even in the thought bubble of other sims, she is in costume. Why is that?! The only thing I can think of is that soon after her adult birthday party, she "woo hooed" with her sister's fiance. After which, she began to wear the bunny costume. Any explanation for this? It's hilarious.

Well, I have NO idea why that's happening, but...it's hilarious!

Anyway, you can take a cab and shop for new clothes, as long as you have a cabinet, and choose plan outfit, w/e...from the sound of it, you're probably gonna wanna get all the outfits (i.e. Everyday, PJs, Gym Clothes, Swim Suit, Formal, Underwear).

Haha, that is funny. Did she just turn into an Adult? Maybe its just a random outfit (I'm not sure, I only have Sims 2 Pets and the old one, Sims Bustin' Out) Maybe if you move her out of the house she is in (If you don't like it at all) you can try and edit her and see if she will change. -Save the game before you move the family out just in case you can't edit her, that's what I do...- Sorry I couldn't help you out more...

Dressing up the boy as a princess won't make him gay, or a serial killer, or depressed as he gets older. He could be embarrassed by using it yet who would not have any embarrassment from their early life? If this transformation into any incorrect way around and a woman wanted to gown up in as a prince no one could say something. Is dressing up as a princess his concept or yours? It sounds love it is yours. My suggestion could purely ask him what he needs or take him down the dress isle and permit him %. a "boy" dress.

When your Sim matures into the next life stage, I believe they get just a random outfit. Try getting a new outfit and see if that helps.
