A bulletproof vest and a tazer. Also don't drive around looking at the map if you wish not to stick out like a sore thumb and be a possible target. Also lots of sunscreen if you are pale and from the north.

Well, it looks like most of the other answers are pretty well covered. In terms of medication, only those prescriptions and supplements that you are currently taking. Sundries? If you already have them, bring a pair of flops, shorts, t-shirts...rule of thumb: divide the number of days in half to get how many of an item of clothing you'll need. Besides, you'll probably want to buy couple of Florida Tees or bathing suits or shorts while you're here, so pack light. If you are flying down, don't bother weighing yourself down with a lot of toiletries--it's already been stated, but you will find everything you need at a Walgreen's or CVS closeby. Leave room in your baggage for souvenirs, a nice beach towel to bring back, etc.....Bon Voyage!

I try to pack as light as possible. Make sure you take Tylenol and sunscreen. Other than that, if on the off chance you need something else, you can buy it there.

Bring enough clothes so that you don't have to wash them often. Hat(s), sunglasses, sunscreen, bathing suits and sandals iare a must. Other then that, you can find everything else there. Oh, don't forget to leave your worries behind and enjoy your visit.

Dude, there's a Walgreens like every half a block down here. Instead of packing a bunch of crap, just buy what you need when you get here.
