Quite possibly a few backward people, firstly the seat is not designed to sit backwards and your knees would be in conract with the tank making the transition from front to rear awkward. You may be reffering to a bidet for women where they face rear ward and the water is forced upwards to cleanse the vagina.

Actually in Vietnam most of the women sit facing the toilet. And they don't mind doing it in mens section. I went in the military, and we had Vietnamese on base that would do it. Nice unless you lean forward and have a clearance issue.
