The science in "Day After Tomorrow" has some points that are based on facts, but it is full of inaccuracies and wild exagerations. So, don't lose sleep over this film. On the other hand, the Al Gore film is pretty accurate. I have seen it twice with other scientists and we were able to agree with pretty much everything they said.
So if you want to go to the movies and get depressed over the future weather, see Al Gore.

Overcrowding happens, the environment gets even worse (since we're using every single piece of land we can find), people die out, some move back into the upper latitudes (due to the overcrowding), the people who can't live with the cold die, the people who can live will survive to reproduce, and the descendants of the humans who moved up will adapt to living in a cold environment.

The world population would be severly cut back and millions would die alot due to the cold and eventually alot due to their being alot less food to go round, as crops would fail due to weather thats if they were planted in cold areas atall as their would be no point! And so crops would be planted in the warmer areas of the world but that means limited space and so less food to go around as less food could be grown!
