My radiator leaks in my 89 Camaro and it needs to be replaced. To get mine replaced by mechanics/dealership it will cost a little more then $200, which includes the radiator and the labor. Would it be much cheaper if I just went and bought a radiator for my car and then just took it to a mechanic and only pay for the labor, or no? Can I replace it myself? Or would it be too hard? I know mechanics charge a lot for labor, but is there somewhere that would do it for cheap? (I live in Missouri) Thanks!

200 is a good price. The radiator would cost you 120 or so, and it's not that easy a job if you haven't done a few. There are some very minor mistakes that can cost you an engine.
