Watching a calf. That's what the person was doing. People watched how the cows fed the calf's and associated it with how female humans can feed children.
If your wondering why some one looked at a chicken and said "I'll eat the next thing that comes out of its butt." I can explain that too. They watched how animals like fox's and other predators ate eggs and decided to try it for them selves.

absolutely everyone that thinks that is yucky to breastfeed an 11 month previous is an fool! A 4 or 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous, it truly is a touch unusual to make certain. yet your infant continues to be a touch one! and also you've been right no longer to grant your infant the breast and a bottle. The bottle is way a lot less complicated to get milk from and your infant may have determined he didn't wish the breast in any respect, and pumping for the milk isn't problem-free. I in common words managed to very last 3 weeks with breastfeeding and six more effective with pumping, so I even haven't any ideas on weaning, sorry. yet do not take heed to those who say that is nasty that attempt to be breastfeeding, you've performed and are doing large!

I've wondered that myself, on occasion. My best guess is that people realized that they had milk in their boobs too, or saw a baby cow suckling. Since cows give off more milk, it would make sense to use theirs instead of our own, giving the limited production of humans.
What really baffles me is the question of who the first mother to breastfeed was.

If women who gave birth had milk in their boobs and people see a calf suckling on cow's udders, then it isn't difficult to put 2 and 2 together.

Because their young would suckle. Similar to berries, fruits, etc., if the birds and animals that eat them do not get sick or die, then the humans gave it a go. Except, can you imagine the first people arguing over who was going to eat the first egg, that fell out of a Hen's butt?
