Like seriously. This guy doesnt want her g/f to know I am talking to him when I know her g/f and I am not the kind of person who would steal boyfriends. That's so dumb. Cant he control himself?

Is not like I am throwing myself at him. I am just his classmate and I am just talking about decent things.

Nope can't be done. He's a dude who's attracted to you. She know's it.

You can either walk away and let them get a stronger relationship, or you can decide that you will be a constant thorn in their relationship and persue a friendship/ more with him.

It sounds like the guy has a problem if he's trying to keep it from his girlfriend. It could be that his girlfriend is the jealous type and that is why he doesn't want her to know. But still that isn't right him slipping behind her back talking to you...doesn't that make you feel weird?? It would me...I would feel like he was trying to hide something. Trust me if his girlfriend finds out she's gonna think the worst of you even though you are completely innocent in the deal...it would have been better if he would have just come out and told her he was talking on the phone to one of his classmates who happens to be a girl. Then if she gets mad then he would have to make a choice about it.

Having friends of the opposite sex while you are dating seems like it shouldn't be an issue for anyone. That's what you are doing before you commit through marraige, isn't it, to search and find someone you are totatlly compatable with. Until you get marreid, everyone is still in the running sort of speak. I would just causually continue to the friendship, don't push youself on anyone, and go with the flow. If the girlfriend becomes angry at you, ask her to talk and share your feelings about it to her.

Absolutely.
Nothing wrong with that, however it could pose as a threat to his partner as you mentioned.
I mean how would you feel having your boyfriend finding comfort confiding in another female other than you? Badly, right?
There's really no way around it.
Probably it's more of this guy to ensure his girl that it's STRICTLY platonic between the 2 of you.
Otherwise it can get... "ugly", lol.

It's so ok to have female friends. My man has female friends, I don't get jealous. He can control himself-though some can't get enough of women. She is insecure b/c it's possible he has had a past of making her feel invisable when he is around other women.

It all comes down to control of his interest darlin'. You can have a casual relationship "talking about decent things" and not have a problem. If you start to become a bigger priority than the woman who he is committed to, then that's where the problem lies.

Young people are incredibly stupid. At your age, NO. At your age, guys can never admit they like other guys (for fear that means they are gay), guys can never have a female friend outside of their girlfriend, yadda yadda. All a sham. Wait till you are older and none of this silly nonsense will be an issue.
