my heater core went in my car and started to leak on my computer , so im having a new computer and heater core put in my question is will my car run differently or will things in my car be reset like my stereo or things on the dash board

Still need to know what your working on to help you ?????
You may have to reprogram the computer if it a newer car.The stereo will likely reset

Depending ou the car, there maybe updated software that you will be getting with a new computer (PCM) and the car will work better. The stereo will always reset when the battery is removed as there is no power to it, and when changing the computer I would think they would take the battery out for a bit.

How can a heater core leak affect a computer ???? I have never heard of a computer being on the floor of a car

If proper computer is put in then all should be fine, of course you may have to reset your clock or stereo. The odometer if electronic will not be effected.
