The only reason why I'm taking it at such a hard level it because I want to go to Unversity to learn more English to become an author. Which that just happens to be a fall back plan if I don't make it to Collage to because an actress. So, could you please help me to become better at spelling and with my grammer. Just tell how and I'll be studying really hard! (I didn't use spell check on this to prove how horrible I'm and spelling and grammer)

The best advice for anyone wanting to improve spelling is to READ. lots and lots and lots of stuff. Books, magazines, newspapers. And lay off the comic books and the internet social sites (I mean Myspace and Facebook). The more you read the more your brain is exposed to new mind-stretching words. Don't know the meaning of a word? Look it up. Then write it down. All those spelling workbooks we had in elementary school were there for a REASON. it will take some time, but it will come. You just need to do your part. Just like dieting. You have to start with the first step. Then the next. Before you know it you are walking, and then running. Same with spelling.

I admire you for your goals and hope you intend to work hard to achieve them.

Be sure of your main goal, first. Keep reading, as the first respondant said, it is a wonderful way to learn. Also, it will help you decide which genre suits you best as an author.

Many top selling authors make money comparable to actresses and have a bit more privacy.

Grammar, like cursive writing, is becoming a lost art in this country. You may ask your teachers, librarian, or school districts if they have any old English text books. You can also find tips in the small, homework-help type books at paretn/teacher bookstores. Be sure to always proofread!

Best wishes to you in your high school and college years.

Reading isn't a bad idea, since you can learn a lot from it, such as improving your vocabulary, study the way the author put words together...
Beside reading, also create a habit of checking your spelling, make sure they are all correct. Try to memorize your mistakes in spelling and not to do it again.
You may want to borrow some Grammar books from the library to fix some common mistake in writing.

Okay? Good luck!

-A good way to learn more about spelling is to study word roots and word parts. For instance, the root visi- means "to see." If you know this, then words like visible, visual, visualize, and visibility are easier to figure out. Search "word roots" or "Latin roots" and you'll find some good lists.
-Also, word parts can give you good clues for spelling. Think about the word "specific". I've seen this word misspelled a million ways...the schwa sound in the first syllable (sounds like "uh") is hard to spell. But if you know that the word "specific" is related to "special" and "species", then you have a good clue to that first syllable. There are many more examples of this. The book "Words Their Way" is written for teachers, but you can probably find some useful information at their website. I've learned a lot!
-Many people have suggested reading. But television and radio can also help you to become used to more formal speech. Not "American Idol", of course...but PBS shows like Nova and Nature, as well as NPR. This exposure can give you more of an ear for language, and you'll hear some of the words that you're trying to learn.
-There are many online games and activities to help you with grammar. Try Funbrain.com for an interesting beginning, and then search for topics that you find troublesome.
-The book "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves" discusses punctuation in a fun and entertaining way.
