i have files saved on my computer at home and when i am traveling i would like to know how to access my computer from anywhere else. please someone help me. i have been searching for forever.

You have several options available but I am assuming you are looking for a low cost solution. One way to do this is to download VNC ultra from http://www.ultravnc.com/ this will allow you to access your PC from anywhere.

You will of course have to leave the home computer hooked to the Internet, you will need to know it's IP address. Then, with your travel being on-line, type the IP address into address bar and by implementing Remote Desktop feature will have access to your home system. This is going to take some work on your part to become familure with the remote desktop program.
