If the truth is on their side, you'd think they'd employ it as a recruiting tool just once or twice in the average human lifespan.

The last honorable Republican was Lincoln, and that was when Republicans were Democrats.

They don't know they're lying. They'd need to be aware of what the truth is before you could accurately call them liars. None of them are.

Okay, I'm gonna chastise you for lack of facts. You can't just go around making claims. You'll start to look like Bill O'Reilly.

Now he IS a liar. NO, Bill, you did NOT win a Peabody, despite what you like to claim.

Good ol' Rummie, always the great advocate of "stay the course." Oh, what's this? He wrote a memo saying we need a NEW course?? Nooooooo!! That HAS to be the liberal media bias.

Everybody knows that in 2003, we declared Mission Accomplished!! Yes!! We got Osama!!!! Oh, wait, that couldn't be the mission because he's still at large.
Oh, that's right. Bush doesn't even think about Osama anymore.

It MUST be referring to the war in Iraq. Oh, wait, 3 years later, we're still there. Ooops!! That damn liberal media again!!

In his first year in office, Congress sought to shift $800 Million from missile defense to counter-terrorism programs prior to 9/11, but Bush threatened to veto any such measure.

Oh yeah, and Daniel, Lincoln was a LIBERAL Republican, as were all "republicans" for quite a while.
The switch of names is a common fact that is known to all people who can argue historical politics legitimately.

That's a bit inflammatory.

Did you notice 90% of the people didn't answer your question, they just attacked you for bringing up the TRUTH. Don't challenge the LIE, that's the first thing you learn in Psychology 101 when dealing with a psychopath. Don't challenge the LIE! When you do, you'll get attacked.

I dont want to rain on your parade or anything, but there are no such thing as a neocon. Conservatism and Liberalism are idealogies, which cannot change. And Lincoln was a Republican Republican, sorry. I know Cons dont lie and lie and lie and lie, at least not most of them, which is good because I tend to vote conservative.

Lying is their bread and butter. The Neocons have an agenda which you can find on sites like the PNAC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century where they outline their plans for Hegemony over the Middle East, etc. In order to get the public to go along, it is necessary to tell lies about why we are there, so they can move along behind the smoke of their tall tales.
