Because those in government have financial interests in businesses who are the largest offenders of emissions regulations. What I mean is...if I were a government official and owned stock in Kool Aid, and Kool Aid sales are doing really well...I would TRY to ignore the environmentalist groups if they claimed the factory that makes Kool Aid was giving off chemicals that were dangerous to the environment.

The thing is though, there are fanatics on both sides. Global warming is happening, without a doubt, BUT...is it really being caused by what we're doing? Earth is a growing, changing planet (and the hole in the ozone is actually repairing according to recent findings). Claiming that we are causing the planet to change and only we can stop it, may be in part...hype.

Of course we shouldn't litter, and we should recycle and we shouldn't build 50 new apartment complexes in areas that have too much housing as it is...but the earth has changed over and over, without human interaction prior to now. We need regulations because we ARE polluting water and air etc... but I'm not so sure global warming is the end result. I think the danger is more likely in having no clean drinking water and birds with 3 wings and two beaks.

Because "Global Warming" is imaginary. It's highly arrogant of us to think we're affecting global temperatures because we've recorded temperatures for a hundred years or so, and they're going up. The world is hundreds of millions of years old, and throughout it's long life it has warmed and cooled many times on it's own, without a single human to help out. To demonstrate, listen to .000000000001 second of a song, and tell me if you like it. "Global Warming" is yet another falsity, a tactic employed by liberals to scare you enough to approve their socialist agenda.

I know right?! Last night, my sister was talking to this girl who works at a satelite place, and she says the hole in the ozone layer keeps getting bigger and bigger. I mean, try to lower the prices of those sun power panels!
