Apparently, the guy who invented the Illuminati stuff for publication in1975 made it all up to coin in on the conspiracy theories going around then. Mr Robert Anton Wilson Died in Califonia on 11-01-2007. Him and his friend from Playboy mag wrote the stuff ad some people think it is all true. If I did not spot his Obituary in the Independent I would have thought there was some plot.

11-1-2007 hasn't happened yet--what is this, some kind of conspiracy?

I know there once was a group called the illuminati in Europe some 200 years ago who wanted to overthrow the gov'ts and the Pope. They were connected somehow with the Free Masons of that time.

Nah...Too many conspiracy theories out there. Not saying none are true but I never bought into the illuminati

No one "bought" Bohemian Grove either until it was exposed...the Illuminati is an old old society. There are many secret societies, Freemasons etc. They exist, perhaps they're not as devious as people make them out to be but they do exist.

Of course people can say he made it all up NOW.
He's dead.

uh, the illuminati trilogy is a NOVEL.

it's not in the non-fiction section, but fantasy.

it's not true and didn't really happen...
