I will be there with my vote the day we get ready to release the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue back into the chicken ranch whence he came.

The 2008 Presidential election is very important to me; I will be 18 years of age on the September 24th of that year, meaning I will be able to vote for the first time in any election.

I will be considering each candidate very carefully before I vote. I am already paying close attention to potential candidates, and so far I really like Barack; however, due to his inexperience, I don't think he would make the best candidate. Perhaps eventually after he gains more experience, but America needs a more experienced leader, one who will be able to fix the major problems the nation faces.

It's obviously much too soon to decide who I'm going to vote for, and it is possible that neither Mr. Obama nor Mrs. Clinton will run. But if I had a choice between Barack or Hillary, I would gladly choose Barack.

I might vote for Barack but I will not be voting for Hilary because I am fearful she might let her husband make all the tough decisions and I don't want Bill to have another four years in the White House.

Like so many above have answered, we need to wait to see who will actually run for the job.

However, I like what I am seeing in some of the possible candidates.

Hillary? No thank you! Bill and Hill are already costing the taxpayer waaayyy too much money! I'm not against a woman running (and winning)! Just not her! Need someone we can trust! I can't trust her.

Rice? Maybe! However, she is only a puppet for the Bush clan. She is also possibly one of the brightest people who could appear on the docket! But can she handle the office? Maybe. Watching her as a person of interest.

Barack? I like what I am hearing of this well spoken gentlemen. But to be honest, I do not know enough about him at the moment. Need to study more here. He is young, but so was JFK (who, IMHO, was one of the finest people to have ever held the office).

It is time for a BIG change in this office but even so, it may be too late. It will require a very special person to bring us out of what we've gotten ourselves into.

I will be watching the hopeful very, very closely!

Thanks for the question.

No idea, I really have to look at the platforms and compare their points of view with other Dem candidate's POVs like Edwards or Richardson. However, I'm totally worried about the war in Iraq, illegal immigration, education, healthcare and lower taxes. I hope the Democrats worry about these issues because otherwise I might have to vote Libertarian (don't knock it, a third party will be a factor). Please Democrats we need to help our country. By the way, for the record, I'd like to vote for Obama (Hillary would probably have all the conservatives attack her and it wouldn't be a nice sight). Besides, if he does win, it'll sooth things up with the country and we can have some peace.

Neither Hilary (sic) or Obama has ever worn a uniform, and you want to put them in charge of trying to clean up an unpopular war.

Nice somersault though, you're a shoo in for the Olympic Team.

Neither...can't stomach Hillary and Barack has no record serving in the military. Nope, don't think so. Sorry, but I want a man in office...not just a college grad who thinks that always giving in to poor people and supporting them will help this country. More tax $$ out...no, no, no.

A vote for Hilary would be a waste because our country is not progressive enough to vote for a woman president. I will wait and see what the options are before deciding.
