I told myself to remember and I forgot. It was a digital wood mill. It connected to a PC through a USB cord. You make three demensional designs on your computer and stick a piece of wood in one end of the mill and your finished piece comes out the other. It looked brilliant. Does anyone know what it is called?

OMG I SAW THAT TOO! The one that is $1800? I know what you are talking about and I want it soooo bad!!! It is a Craftsman. If you go to their website you can find out the exact name but I know for sure the brand is Craftsman.

Craftsman CompuCarve # 21754 is $1900 but the website says they are temporarily out of stock.

This machine is made by CarveWright. www.carvewright.com Didn't see a sales price on their site, should be close.

Remember this thing is really a CARVING tool. It can do some mill work, but this is a medium to light duty hobbyist machine. CarveWright even sell a probe that you can scan 3D objects to incorporate into your own designs. CarveWright's website goes into a lot of detail, and members can swap project ideas and programs. The software alleges you can use photographs to make your carvings as well.

Sorry about running on like this, but I guess you can tell I want one too! (Too big and boisy to hide from wife though! :) )
