I really am stuck on this essay question, if possible can you help me out with few pointers because the rest will come from the brain. I will award accordingly!

Although I have always had friends that were Af-Ams, we never discussed the "black question", Now, I have a friend and we talk about Everything.

I ask her things I have always wondered about, such as why do some black people have such a sloppy way of speaking? or when a group of black people get together they have such a different way of socializing? or why do some black people insist on remaining 'victims'?

She has her own questions about white people and we have a great time. We laugh A Lot. And we learn a lot. Thank goodness we are comfortable enough with each other that we can ask, and perhaps learn something.

I have discovered that despite my shell of 'non-racist' that I held some bizarre private beliefs. Some of them I cannot get rid of but I am free to always mention it again to my girlfriend.
