My girlfriends birthday is coming up and I need some new ideas on what to do for her. I've already " wined and dined" her and flowers are played out. Please help!

Massage her and don't forget the feet. The feet are usually the most ignored and abused part of the body and always can use some T.L.C.
Cook her dinner. I find it's always great when a man cooks for me, but if you can't or don't want to cook, buy her favorite dish already prepared and transfer to your plates. (Yes I know that's cheating, but if you know what it tastes like already, there should be no surprises).

Look into what is it she is really interested in, what is it that she really likes. A personalized gift means so much more than a generic one. I mean, if she really loves jewelry - get her jewelry. But you simply can't go any more generic than that. I would look at the things she is passionate about, and search for an answer there.
Example: Last year, I was setting up a new planted fish tank, and couldn't decide which light fixture to get; they were all really expensive, and I was between jobs. While I put the project on hold, he (on his own) did the research, went down to the fish store, and got the best light fixture picked out. I almost fell over when he presented me with a $400 fish tank light on Valentines day. Now, THAT was something special. I was really impressed.
We are now married.

If you both have vacation time coming up, you should surprise her with a weekend getaway. Like going to Vegas! :) I'm not sure how old you are, or your budget.... so If that is out of the question, then just be romantic.
Have a "pamper her day" Make her breakfast in bed (brunch), let her sleep in, and eat what you cook, then have some champagne with your brunch and give her a nice relaxn bath. Then have things set up so you can massage her body with oil after she gets out. Then I would suggest you make love, and after that? Give her diamonds! :) That should make for the perfect day for her. Also if you don't have all day you could do this in the evening, but make something light for dinner. AND HAVE LOADS OF CANDLES ALL OVER!

Do not be afraid to make a fool of yourself, in fact, some girls find that absolutely adorable.
Call her first thing in the morning, maybe even show up at her house with something? Girls love surprises. It shows your extra thinking. Ask her friends what her favorite things are, if you're not sure. You guys could watch her favorite movie just you two with candy, comfortable pillows and blankets.
Although it sounds simple girls LOVE this kind of stuff!

Kidnap her! Seriously, let her boss know that she wont be in on a certain day and take her to a bed and breakfast or nice hotel with a jacuzzi.
Put together a snack food basket with nice chocolates and another one with bubble bath or perfume.
What about taking her to a concert or musical?

My BF threw me a surprise birthday party. All my best friends and family were there. He made me feel sooo special. That by far was the best present ever!!!

for my birthday my husband put on a scavenger hunt around the house, once i got the right clues it led to the bathtube filled with bubble bath and candles, then i got the most wonderful massage, there is no way to top that off

Leave little notes telling her how much you appreciate her, dotted all over the house in the spots you know she's likely to find them (under her pillow etc)
