Saddam kept the country under control and he was sold all the WMD by the USA. When Saddamn intially wanted to invade Kuwait, he consulted with the USA but GHWB just told him that it was none of the US business. Only later did GHWB flip-flop on the issue. With the sanctions in place for so many years, the US is the major terrorist causing the death of thousands of innocent Iraqi children. Not to mention illegally occupying a country, torturing innocent civilians, and escalating an internal civil war. I am no lover of Saddam he was thug, crimininal and a dictator but personally, I long for the days Saddam was in power.
