I was cleaning up the bedroom one day and came across a box under the bed. The paper stated a blood test done back in the early 90's, with her name and her ex-husband name and her son name on it. I read at the bottom of it. It has said that her ex could not be the father of her son. I asked her why she told me that story. She said that her ex got another woman to pose in her place. I advised her if that was true, why you did not contested it since you have the proof you was not there. She told me that her ex cheated on her. Therefore, she left him after that. She said; she did not have any money to contest it.
Right before us getting married, she did not know she still married or divorced. However, she advised that he had six kids and was not taken care her son. Her ex filed for divorce in 2003 for Abandonment. Found this out the second year of marriage, what to do?

it would really be hard to believe her, seems as if she likes to tell stories which point away from any wrong doing on her part. sounds so bizarre that if another woman posed during a paternity test, that she would not have the papers in her possession. sounds as if she tried to pin the kid on this person on the paper, and it wasn't his kid, that's why he never paid support and doesn't now. she is just a liar, better not stay in this, what else will she lie to u about, what else will u find out about her she has kept hidden?

I'm a nurse. They give these tests all the time and you don't need money for something that isn't accurate. I think she is a liar and can't be trusted. Find out everything and confront her again, only this time you will have all the proof you need. Really that piece of paper is proof enough, but find out more she's not being totally honest, but why?

"Abandoment" in divorce is just a "technical" term used as a grounds for divorce when there are no other grounds other than one spouse has left the marriage. Obviously if she left her husband after he cheated she "abandonded" the marriage. It's more of a "general" term much like "Irreconcilable differences". It's used quite often in court when a spouse move out of the family home. Nothing more.

Sounds like your entire marriage is based on lies, deceit, secrets and fabrications. What a tangled web she weaves...

If you are OK with that then there is nothing for you to do.

However.... if you are like 99% of the population you DO have a HUGE problem with this. I would run like the wind and do my best to know someone better next time.

Hope you are OK.

The ex got another woman to pose in her place, so how does she get the paper. Plus the paper says he's not the father, not the woman's not the mother!

You are two year into this and have found out some big lies.
It takes years to really get to know someone.
Its you call.
I would look at the relationship and look for more problems just under the surface.
