There is a fine line between ignorance and stupidity that sometimes morphes; nevertheless, there is a difference inboth.

An ignorant person is one that displays studity in their words, actions or conduct due to their ignorant point of view(s). They really know no better.

Wheras a stupid person is alwys right in their own eyes, therefore the remain ignorant and refuse to change because of they frankly see no reason to change their views, conduct or actions.

Ignorance is a conscious rejection of a notion that if not acted on by a preceding bias would be accepted as fact. Stupidity is simply not having the ability to reach the truth due to a lack of intelligence. Ignorance is wasted intelligence whereas stupidity is simply a lack thereof.
