I am so appalled at the shows they show on regular tv anymore. I am in a small town and can not get cable or satilite dish. I am stuck with just ABC and PBS. ABC is horrid with its choice of shows to watch. All they mostly are of is who is in bed with who one week and then it changes partners....there is no story in their programs....I watch Wife Swope and Supernanny....the only programs that are not full of smut.

There are several good shows along with several terrible shows. My personal favorites are Grey's Anatomy--I like the relationships between the friends and the doctors, I also like Desperate House Wives--I like the drama
I personally dont like Wife Swap and Supernanny. I dont like reality shows because who really is acting real there, they just want stupid drama so they get noticed.

I don't think it is great anymore either. I would like to see more family kind of shows that are funny but without all of the smut talk that the kids do on TV now.

there are plenty of good shows on in primetime.
House and 24 both have great acting, 24 is action packed and house is very interesting
As for comedies, the office is hilarious, it makes me laugh out loud the entire time it's on

I have a dish but there are alot of shows I watch on regular TV too. I really like HOUSE, CSI, WITHOUT A TRACE, COLD CASE, and SMALLVILLE. To each their own though...not everybody likes the same things....if we did it'd be a boring place. My wife loves GILMORE GIRLS, BIG BROTHER, SURVIVOR, and AMERICAN IDOL...and I hate those!!!!HA!!!!

Jericho and Monk are the only network shows that I watch. Not sure what channel they are on.
But you are right, TV in general is awful.
