Autumn is the best time

2007-01-16 15:54:34 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Late April is probably the best time but don't expect anything like the Autumn Fall in the New England states (I assume you're American).

A lot of our trees are natives and they don't lose their leaves. The others are a little confused at the moment because the weather has been mixed up over the last few months. We've had no rain so a lot of the European trees have lost their leaves already and quite a few have actually lost their lives !!!

April--May, but our seasons are changing, summers are longer and winter last year seemed shorter, certainly we had new growth on trees in autumn!!

G'day,

Hard to say. I can tell you that leaves are start dropping now due to hot weathers these last few days. I reckon leaves will start changing colors and drop in March by the look of it.

Good luck and welcome to Melbourne.
