I think he should run...I haven't voted for a dem in years (green party, yo!), but I would vote for Obama. He actually was AGAINST the war when myself and most of the world were also against it. He is a senator with little experience, but that can also be a blessing. In a way, he hasn't done anything that can mess up his record. He hasn't had time to make too many mistakes. I hope he runs.

I think he has some pretty interesting ideas... and has the motivation and potential to make a good president. I think that he and Hillary will split the Democratic ticket... creating a win situation for the Repulicans... the Democrats need to provide a united front... maybe an Obama/Clinton ticket rather than BOTH of them running for president on the Democratic Ticket..... otherwise, the Republicans will win by united vote... again....

Cant really judge him. Heard him speak on Oprah but that was it. I went to get his book but I bought "The coldest winter ever" instead. I am still interested in reading it.

When will America ever be ready for a black president? I am ready. I would definetly vote for him to support my people. I hear they are trashing him already.

He seems very intelligent and I think anything would be better than the lying cheatin' folks that think they know what thye are doing in office as we speak.

GO OBAMA!!!

Well He's Got 30 Million Ready-Made Votes So Why Not Run....To Bad If He Does Win He'll Be Dead In A Couple Days..I'm Sure...America Is Not Ready For A ***** President And Probably Never Will Be.....

I think that if he does run it will be a lofty concept, but he doesn't have enough experience to gain the trust and votes of the good ol' boys who voted Bush into office.

He will make an AWESOME president, but I doubt he would even make it past the primaries at this point. He needs more experience. He hasn't proven by his past experience that he's the man for the job.

He is a junior senator (2 years experience) with freshman senator committee assignments under his belt. He is not ready for the presidency, and while he can speak well, there are other qualifications for the job. Quite frankly until he gets more national level experience and can prove himself by breaking away from voting a straight party line he looks like a Jimmy Carter. Genial and cordial but too much of a light weight to be sitting in the Oval Office.

I wouldn't vote for the guy, but he's got every right to run. It would make an interesting campaign and he might actually articulate some substantial points for discussion. At least he's not Hillary.

Would be the best decision the electorate made since Wild Bill.

I am waiting to hear what he has to say before I judge him like everyone else seems to be doing. This inexperienced talking point I keep seeing from everyone is one of the things I like about him.

I would love to see him and Hillary on the same ticket. I think they would offer some of the change and integrity that our country desperately needs!
