Congratulations you are pregnant! Same thing happened to me with both my babies because I tested early. My doctor told me it doesn't matter how faint the line is - positive is a positive, especially if you have done the test twice with this result. Pregnancy tests are 99.9% accurate. The line is still only faint because you are just pregnant and if you were to test in a weeks time it would be darker.

From what I've heard, a faint positive is still a positive! The reason the line shows up is when it detects a certain pregnancy hormone. If you didn't have the hormone, the wouldn't be a line at all, but since there was a faint line, that means there is some hormone present. Take the test again in a few days and it will most likely be darker!

Do test until you see a dark line! It could be a chemical pregnancy, so triple check or see the dr. First response is the best one and it has two or three in the pink box! A chemical pregnancy shows faint because it means a woman was pregnant and had the hormone and it did not take! I have had two of these out of my 3 births! This does not mean you are having this problem, I just want you to know what it could be! Go to webmd to check chemical pregnancy! Test in another day or two! If still worried about the faintness, go to the dr. Good luck

When I've taken pregnancy tests way early in the pregnancy the lines were faint but i still ended up being pregnant. I think any bit of line no matter how light means that you probably are pregnant. Good Luck!

It took me three years, than I got an faint line, then another.
Do what I did, call your ob/gym and get a blood test.
My daughter is a six.
Congratulation if the line is right.
Tell you're other half
Good luck

That is definitley a positive no matter how faint. Each day you take a test the line will get darker and darker because your producing more and more HCG in your body each day. Congrats!

Wait a week and try again. If you are pregnant, there will be no doubt. If the results are not very clear by then, I would say you are not. Just my opinion, but my daughter has had a few tests over the years that were the way you described and she was not pregnant.

Sounds like you're probably pregnant. Unlesss it's an evaporation line (extremely unlikely given how fast it came up), it's a positive test. It's usually considered that if there's a line, you're pregnant. If there isn't, you still might be. :)

As far as I know, even if the line is faint it is considered positive...maybe wait a week and check again just to be sure.
