I think Denzel by a hair, but they both have very different ranges as far as actors go, and would never be offered the same roles. Denzel is a pretty unique talent in this generation, with all due respect to Samuel L., who's turned some of the most memorable lines of dialogue in any movie in the last decade.
They've both got a certain gravitas, that's for sure.

I love Denzel but Samuel I think is a lot better and often over looked

Denzel! He's a real actor. Samuel does things like "Snakes on a Plane". Denzel wouldn't be caught dead in drivel like that. Don't get me wrong, Samuel is a great actor, but he doesn't have two Oscars sitting on his shelf like Denzel, now does he?

I love both of them but I prefer Denzel Samuel curses in almost every movie but I still like him though.
