In some strange ways GOD seems to have grown with us, felled with hope for us we have at every turn disappointed GOD to the point were he or she would rather let the second in command Jesus take care of the show.

Or you could look at it as GOD did the hard work, created life, taught us, give it a direction, then like all kids we may now have grown to the point were GOD will let us believe he is not watching to closely. Some of the smarter kids (maybe us)always have to learn the hard way, by being allowed to screw up.To teach us humility and show us our place.

We could take it as a complement that he or she feels we can figure it out from the clues he or she has given us.

Or we could be glad that we have some kind of excuse, after all if GOD talked to us now in such an obvious way, we really would not have a leg to stand on if we keep doing wrong.

Also some may say that GOD is helping us now he did give us Jesus, and he did give us the power of prayer and he did give us knowledge of him or her.

Ask the Mother who's child just survived a car wreck or surgery for cancer. Ask the man that walked out of a plane crash alive and only bruised. Ask the drug addict that was delivered by his faith from the hell he was living. Ask the child that only knows to believe that he is loved. Your answer is in the hospitals and homes of many of those that never speak of what miracles God has given them. Read the book, When bad things happen to good people by Harold Kushner. It will change your life if you allow it to open your eyes.

Actually, He does.

He has, in the last year, healed my wife of an incurable (according to the NHS mental health professionals) mental illness.

Many years ago he rescued me from evil men intent on taking my life.

Who knows how many world events (good ones, I mean) He has had a hand in? Such as bringing down the Berlin wall, the end of Communist rule in the USSR, and the end of apartheid in South Africa?

The truth of the matter is that God doesn't really exist. All these 'miracles' etc. that are in the bible are stories made up just to illustrate a point the writers were trying to make. None of that stuff actually happened.

I think you need to find a church that believes in gifts of the spirit. unless you are looking for fire and brimstone. I have seen possessed people have the demons cast out of them and poeple healed, like a cross-eyed dude, with his eyes suddenly straightened. And prophetic people knowing stuff that only God would know. I mean gifts of the spirit, like word of knowledge, healing, talking in tongues, Prophecy ect.

Cause he's got a condo in Florida... he's retired. Did his 6 days, and then went to Disneyland.

He's leaving it up to you to do what you can, and maybe, if the weather gets nice, he'll stop by and see if there is anything left that he needs to do.

But really, how come you aren't helping? Why are you waiting for God to fix what you should be fixing. After all, sweetie, we made this mess, now it's ours to clean up.

Don't hold your breath waiting for God to fix it. That's your job.

God still speaks to man, but so often man refuses to listen. God still does miracles. He still helps, more now than ever before for those who will seek Him with all their heart. Only God can change the heart of a sinner, and make him into a child of God, forgiven and living for God instead of self. If you are not seeing miracles around you, then perhaps you are in the wrong place and looking at the wrong things, and listening to the wrong voices. Yes, God still speaks, not through burning bushes necessarily, but in the hearts of minds of those who believe, and through the Word of God, the Bible.

god works in mysterious ways he is still working but he work in a way of making it so that we dont notice when hes working his powers he does it in a way where we dont know the difference between him and human powers because if he always did these things for us we become dependent and if he does nothing we lose faith basically if he does everything right itll seem as if hes done nothing at all
