Not necessarily. If this is something that is not normal for you then that's a good sign. But there is no surefire way to detect pregnancy just by cervical mucus.

I also have been experiencing the same thing for months, now. I am experiencing it now, too, but I should have ovulated last week. However, I've been having crazy periods since October (yet I went off the pill in early July), so I may not be much help to you. I thought there was some rhyme or reason to my discharge but since it's happening now, a week after I should have ovulated, I'm really not sure!!! What I have learned from browsing all of these question/answer sites, is that anything goes for every single pregnancy, even with the same woman, so for you, it may be possible to have signs so early! Good luck & sorry I can't help out more...

No, basically white milky discharge is a form of an STD. Ok, but don't worry though...If your period is late take a test...but wait it out if not go to the local DHEC or your ob/gyn and have a routine check up and see what it possibly means. I can say off top it might be a yeast infection or vaginitis.

Not as far as I know, you usually get that discharge becasue your hormone levels are high not because you might be pregnant. After your period is finished it slows down so you don't get so much discharge anymore. But just to be sure why not do a home test.

if it is milky white and you had sex recently--you can have an infection-- or it could be nothing at all

Could be but I doubt it. You can have that if you are sexually stimulated in any way or even if you are exercising. There could be various reasons but I would not worry about it. Only worry about pregnancy if you miss your period or have symptoms of being pregnant. Otherwise I think you are in the clear. Good Luck.

It could be! This is happening to me and I am a week after ov. and trying to conceive my fourth time! If it is not that and does not go away and causes other symptoms go to the dr. An infection can prevent you from conceiving by killing the sperm! Good luck to us both!!!!!!!!!! That is a sign!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
