DISCO WAS THE RAGE BACK THEN. THIS MOVIE HELPED LAUNCH JT'S CAREER. GOOD DISCO SONGS, STILL PLAYING TODAY. ALSO, BROUGHT MY ATTENTION TO THE BGEES.

That's a really good question. I think it was just because thats almost like the Soundtrack of the Seventies, and everyone just loves the Bee Gees and John Travolta and Disco music in General. But I honestly don't know what Made it so popular. Something had to, because after all it is one of the best selling albums of all time.
