"We'd always planned to do this," Jenna explained. "But first, we had to graduate from college, and then we had to help our father win the 2004 election, to ensure that America would continue to have the kind of strong, inspiring leadership it needs in these troubled times."

"Right," Barbara added emphatically. "But now that the election is past, it's time for us to serve this wonderful nation of ours in a new way - in a way that reassures the American public that standing up to terrorists and rogue states, even at the expense of personal risk, is always the right thing to do."

Hey, thanks for mentioning the date person above, maybe, maybe not, but then lets go over there and kick some but with Mark J.

(I personally don't think its any of our business to be there and any perspective you have to the contrary is your business.)

This nation has an ALL voluntary military. Those guys and gals who went to Iraq volunteer to do so. Even if they joined prior to any military action they knew that they may have to go to war for this government. Serving in the military is not just a place to get a college education and great benefits. I served for 8 years. I was in Honduras, Panama, and Desert Storm 1 (that was also in Iraq if you don't know) and did not ask to go to any of them. I knew that as a member of the military that I would have to serve in a war.

My siblings did not join the military they did not have to go to war. My siblings had the choice to remain in college and remain civilians. Bush's girls choose to go to college and choose not to serve this nation. Why would you want to force a person to join the military.

I think the US should follow the example of the movie Starship troopers. If you do not serve at least 2 years in the military you cannot have a vote in the political process.

Good for them. It just shows how patriotic the Bush family really is. I hope for their safe return home and this goes for all our soldiers as well. But while we're over there, let's kick some ***. Go USA. I didn't even notice the date this was published. Does April 1st ring a bell? Also known as April fools Day.

Once I got to the religious part I knew it was fake.

They only drag out their piety for elections.

Won't random drug testing end their enlistments pretty fast?

Is it good for the US that the daughters of our president are laughingstocks and the butt of jokes?
