Why is this country so brainwashed with democrats and republicans arguing the same crap it's all a sham for the new world order--where are all the libertarians?

The number of libertarian-minded people is far greater than the registered voting statistics represent. Partly because of what you already said--Americans are the most brainwashed people on the planet. They are coerced into believing they must vote for the lesser of two evils (democrat or republican), meanwhile ignoring viable third party candidates. They are suckered into believing that the two major parties are actually fundamentally different when they are not. The powers that be continue to strip away our rights while the voting populace falls for the scam.

Absolute honest answer: The American people have fallen asleep. The American people are busy with everyday life - pre-occupied with family and bills and keeping a job. This is not meant to be disrespectful it is just a fact. The American people have been lied to so often by our Government that anything said by them falls upon deaf ears. Examples - Every election what are the focal points: Health care, Education and taxes and poverty. All of them claim I can change the world vote for me. For 30 years these have been the points. Not a single change has taken place. Like robots the American people go to the election booth and pull the dem lever or the rep lever which is a pointless endeavor. there exists a Bill / Act H.R. 25 which eliminates the IRS, and taxes with held from your paycheck. It eliminates having to file tax returns. It fixes social security and balances the budget. It has been around since 1999 - but not a single elected official will ever stand up and get it enacted. Read the book called The Fair Tax Act. It is what the Country needs.

They are here, but the Libertarians need to get a little more out there, and make themselves be known. Maybe some recruiting drives should be held. And, they got to make Neal Boortz quit claiming to be libertarian. That guy jsut says some really stupid stuff, like last week his big thing was that if you are on an interstate highway, you should do, or exceed the speed limit, otherwise you are impeding traffic.

All what Libertarianism will do is pull all the stops to completely allow corporations to run and control everything. Only the top 5% will be true "citizens" under a Libertarian administration.

What sort of libertarians do you mean? Right wing libertarians like the ones in the Libertarian Party? Or left wing libertarians like Noam Chomsky?

I think there are more libertarians in this country than you (and I ) think. But yes, the number is very small. Most of them probably end up voting democrat since their own party is weak and don't have any real good leaders.

They lost me when they decided to turn into brainless Ostriches about the situation in the Middle East!

I know the Libertarians are not weak on Defense, so the truth is, they sold out to the Populist stance of Bush Bashing!

I've heard it said that the Libertarians are the worst of both parties.

I'm a very far-left Democrat. Know why I'm not a Lib? Because even though I realize that even thought I agree with you guys socially, I'm more of a Social Democrat economically. I know that if there's no gov't intervention in economics, I'm not rich enough to not be raped by big business.
