My house was built in 1914.[wood siding],It was built with the timber off the land that surrounds it.It has 5 bedrooms with a fireplace in each.It has a fireplace in the kitchen. It used to have two kitchens but we converted one into a bedroom. It has two living rooms, which is great.I don't have to take down the Christmas tree,LOL.It has 16 foot ceilings and gets very cold in the winter..The fireplaces are so old,we are afraid to use them. Fran came through and destroyed one of the chimneys. We converted to gas heat but it's still cold.We only heat three rooms in the winter. The summertime is great. It is very cool, even without running the air conditioner.
We have a lot of room for just two people, now that our kids are all grown and moved away. But we love it here and have plenty of room to play in,LOL

My house is pretty old. It was built in 1919 for a national park and is made of wood and cement. First it was at the national park and then they moved it here. It then became a docters little doctors clinic then after that became A chiropractic Bussiness. So ya it is pretty old plus it has been moved. So I guess that makes it a little older.

That is so cool! I'd love to see your house cause I'm into history and historical places! I live in a wood and brick home built in 1955.

Very stylish - cira 1950's, aluminum siding, stucco and a lot of rotten wood all around. It should probably be condemmed!! The real charm is how we get fresh rain water when the flat roof starts leaking melting snow in the spring. Your place sounds really cool 'tho.

One half of my house was built in 1920's, and the other half was built in the 1960's. It is made of stone, and wood. The coolest part about it is the old section has a spring cellar with a spring that still runs in it.
