I understand what you are saying! So what I would do is get a blanket and place it over you and pump. Somebody might see you moving around, but oh well. Other then that I would see if there is a row of empty seats. Usually when you get there they will let you have to sign in at the desk before the gate if you carry the carseat or stroller... So ask if they have extra seats available. I flew with delta and they gave me an extra seat for my carseat and I let my baby sleep in that. At the time she was 6 weeks old. Or you can try to pump a lot more these next couple of days or weeks and that will bring more milk in eventually. I pump extra 5 days out of the month and I put my milk in the freezer. Right now I have about 20 extra bags just incase. These are the best ways that I can think of and from experience. Good luck to you and I hope this helps.

For others:pumping exclusively means that that's how she gets breastmilk out, the baby doesn't breastfeed. Many women do this due to bad latch or medical conditions.

do you have a battery operated pump? Maybe you can hide it under a blanket while you pump. I've also seen somewhere a bra that you can attach the pump horns too and pump while you are driving discreetly (I know bizarre but when you're an exclusive pumper you think of everything lol), perhaps you could look for one of those, here's one http://www.leadinglady.com/handsfree/ Let the flight attendants know ahead of time and perhaps they can be of assistance. Good luck!

Pumping on the plane is going to be very unhygenic (i.e. you can get some of the lovely germs you find all over the plane into the milk and even into your pump) and you won't really have a good storage system to keep the milk cold enough to last.

I would suggest you rather breastfeed on the plane which can be done very indiscreetly and pump when you get to your hotel and freeze the milk. Or use formula for the trip since the baby is already using a bottle.

Also, you are going to have tons of stuff to take on the plane and the last thing you need is a pump added to your load.

Besides, once your little one latches on you are going to love how much easier it is to feed directly as opposed to pumping.

Wow, I am so impressed with your perseverance at pumping breastmilk to feed your child!! Most moms give up because it is too inconvenient for them. Kudos to you!

I don't think it's possible to pump without others knowing, especially on a plane. If it's a manual pump, you'll be making a lot of movement, and if it's electric, you'll be humming.

Have you tried a breast shield? It's like sticking a bottle nipple over your breast so they don't actually have to latch on, they just suck as if it's a bottle. I had to do that with my son for the first 2 months of his life because he wouldn't latch onto me either and I wanted breastmilk in him, not formula.

Good luck!! You're a good mom.

pump ALOT more before you go and freeze it. I dont know how long the flight is, or how much your baby drinks, but you can try and pump more milk out, and freeze it. It will last for ages, and you can pump a bit at a time if you dont have alot of time to do it.

There is no where else on the plane where you can have privacy. I suppose you could talk to one of the flight attendents, but odds of them doing something special are kind of low with all the increased security on flights these days.

You can use an electric pump. I had a friend, she used that kind of pump while we were in a car going on a field trip.
You can relax and enjoy your trip with your littleone..
Best wishes..
