My favorite was Rapunzel (and I'm glad Disney's making a movie 'bout it)! 'Coz I like how the story goes... A girl trapped in a tower, a witch, Rapunzel singing, the lover-prince... It's a beautiful story. When I was a kid I often Imagined myself as the Prince. How 'bout you guys? Favorite fairy tales, anyone? I know this sounds kinda dumb but bear with me for a while here... For childhood memories' sake.

I actually have my fairy tale collection up until now. I've always loved fairy tales! I've never outgrown them! My favorites when I was a kid were Rapunzel, Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs, Beauty & The Beast, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, and Sleeping Beauty. In fact, I named my pets after my favorite fairy tale characters. I have a (female) golden retriever named "Rapunzel," a white rabbit named "Snow White," two Scottish terriers named "Belle" and "Beast," a goldfish named "Ariel," a female dobberman named "Gothel," a pitbull named "Gaston," a Siamese cat named "Aurora," and a Persian cat named "Cinderella."

Mine was the little mermaid. Not the one of Ariel that disney made but Pearl. I was still very young when I seen a movie of it that HBO did. I was horrified at first because in the end pearl died for the man she loved. That is when I fell in love with the writings of Hans Christian Anderson. For me it sorta became like a right of passage.

Hm... My favourite fairy tale must have been Cinderella. I always loved that story.... I think I'm gonna go find it, somewhere in my library, and read it again. It's been too long.

The Three Billygoats Gruff, because when my dad told the story he did all the voices in a very funny way, and I loved that. It makes me smile just to remember; thanks!
