doesn't matter
to be a cool person, however, is to be confident and outgoing
talk and be nice to everyone
try out for different sports
popularity does not matter really... just watch the movie mean girls

Hey being popular is not exactly what you see in movies.
You just have to be 100% your true self.
Here are some helpful tips-
- Never follow trends your the one whos the trend setter.
- Don't be a big shot
- Being popular doesn't mean your the queen or rule the school.
- Popular-liked, admired, or enjoyed by many people.
- Even if yor popular you should always say hi to different people.
- Get along with different clicks and make shoure to be known!
- You have to be involved weather its peer toutoring or a club.
- You are not popular because of the clothes you wear, beacuse of your kindness.
- Don't dump your good friends.
- Run for school president or do something that will get people to know you.
- focus on your grades. a C is not good enough
- Make more new friends. Even if you don't like them just give them a chance.
- BE THE KINDEST AND AS POSITIVE AS YOU CAN BE.

I know this may not seem like the answer you're looking for, but this is what someone told me. If you need to change your personality to be friends with the popular girls, then they're not your real friends. Be comfortable with who you are, and just have fun with your true friends. This is how I live my life, and I'm very happy. They are really true to me, and they are better friends than the popular girls would ever be to me.

Well, be confident for starts. Be NICE to everyone (genuinely, of course). Do NOT put people down. Smile a lot and don't talk excessively--listen to what others have to say. Don't try to be funny if you are not, don't act dumb.
Also, it helps to take care of your body, wear clothes that look good on you (although don't fall into the trap of spending too much money on clothes!), try to have clear skin. These things will just generally make you feel good about yourself, an important part of being able to reach out to others and put on your "personal best"
Lastly, don't worry about being popular too much. Just find a group of friends who do fun things and where YOU fit in.
TRYING too hard to be in a certain"Popular" group (like obsessing about it) will show through to the group and they will not like you.
JUST BE YOURSELF (or try to find yourself....)

Try to stand out,but don't try to be liek everyone else, teh word popular also means to be greatly known, so just try and make lots of friends. In high school i usually just use my sence of humor to meet new friends and i am not snobby and i help those in need without friends and i'm cool with the ones who already have them. Or try hanging out with a popular person and meeting their friends and hanging ot with them. By having a unique sence of style always works also

Stop trying so much. If you're meant to be popular u will be but i dont see what the big attraction is as long as you have friends to have a good time with, regardless if they are popular.

I hate to say it, but looks are everything. Nice clothes and hair is a plus, and popular people are not shy. They always talk in class, but don't butt into other peoples conversations or they might think your rude, so try being friendly also.

Ummm if you ahven't realize there are too many subcultures for anyone to be Miss and Mr Popularity.
How about finding good friends who like you for you?
But the best way to be popular with every subculture.
Is to be KIND, RESPECTFUL AND POLITE TO EVERYONE.
EVEN IF YOU DISLIKE THEM!!
OR IF THEY ARE MEAN TO YOU!
