Brown lines keep appearing on my monitor once in a while, all the lines are flickering. Can I get rid of them?

have your monitor checked, or as has been stated it could be a loose connection, but mine did that before it went completely.
or sometimes you get those lines if something magnetic is near, keep your cell phone at a distance or any electronics that have a magnetic field.

You did not say what form of computer screen you have even with the undeniable fact that curiously like an previous CRT. if it is the case, those lines are regularly a demonstration that the tube is on it is way out, which regularly finally ends up in a noisy bang and a huge puff of smoke. Time for a sparkling one!

Check that your video card is in place tightly, into the motherboard. Check all of the connections, to and from, your monitor.

chck ur video card. or your monitor to see if its getting too old, or check the connection to ur monitor. and if all else fails, get a new monitor.
