let my little girl play with barbie dolls? she really likes barbie dolls but i dont want her growing up thinking thats what girls have to look like does any one else feel the same?

i agree. not to sound girly but those things are made by men having their standards. why do you think they don't have the bras painted on!!??

omg! i played with barbies until i was like 10 and i turned out fine, well my body is a great figure... i think any girl should play with them wheather they are pretty or not pretty. When she get to be about 10 she will take her own path in life. I'm a really girly girl, i played with barbie dolls and baby dolls. I have really good self esteem.

Buy her other dolls too that way she will see how different they are. teach her right from wrong. Teach her modesty, that is one thing these Barbie type dolls lack.
