Would a black bathing suite make a pale person look fat?

I am very pale and I keep trying on dark bathing suites to find that they always make me look larger, I think due to the contrast. More opinions please?

yes... try lighter colors like white, yellow, light blue, light pink, stuff like that

Not knowing your body type I can't answer about the style. But your right on about the contrast being the problem if you are pale. Go for a color that is one of the colors you know looks good on you.

I'm really pale too. I stay away from black, but love the dark jewel tones, like dark purple, green or blue. Black and red are too attention-getting. There is no way in h*** I could wear pastels with my coloring. I'd look naked!

if your worried about skin contrasts try a good color that blends well with your skin tone, try earth tones.. stay away from really bold colors, and maybe get a suit with gathering around the sides or stomach, gathering is where the fabric scrunches up, or crinkles. try a store like target if there is one near you they Cary bathing suits great for all body types!

Go with floral prints or stripes in brighter colors. Black is too dark if you are pale (and so are pale colors!) Try a nice red!

they probably do make you look larger because of the contrast, but really why are you wearing them??

try colors,yet dark shades of colors,yet then agan don't do dark colors for that its a bathing suit and the darker the suit the paler you will look,,so go with brighter colors

My cousin is paler than a ghost and she or he were given a yellow, black, and white swim in structure. It did seem sturdy yet i imagine you should get a lighter colored go well with. Like a mild blue or pink :]

I think they would make you look more pale than bigger. Don't get black...it's so boring. Explore the world of colors/patterns/textures!

idk if the black will necessarily make u look fatter, but it will definatly make you look more pale. Bright colors seem to look better. Take it from another person with very pale skin.
