I'm trying to find some good books on the Chapters website. I like romantic/funny stories. Nothing too deep, I have to read enough of that for school. I'm also open to children's books.

The last few books I've read were:
The Time Traveler's Wife
True Love (and Other Lies)
Stupid and Contageous
Bridget Jones

Any sugguestions?
Thanks

Thanks everyone. I'm not into teen stuff...I'm much too old for it. I don't mind children's books though because I write children's stories.

...and I've read all the Harry Potter books Mariella :)

These aren't too funny or romantic, but my favorite books are anything by James Patterson. He's an excellent writer and you just get sucked right into his books.

Romantic books... I've heard anything by Nicholas Sparks is good.

try out the book called "a time for dancing" by davida wills hurwin. it's really funny, but really depressing. the story is about two 17 year olds dealing with one having cancer. these two girls tell each side of their story about how they reacted to it but it will definately make you laugh out loud and cry at time. its a great quick read. explicit references to death and some language are shown. the book is fiction. well whatever you end up reading, hope its good!

Luc started by writing historical books that have been well received by universities, in which academia applauded his eye for detail as if he were there; which he was. Recently, he has written three "fictional" accounts of romances that are actually biographies of family members.

Last year Luc's long time editor passed away replaced by his assistant Kate Leever. She wants Luc to go on tour, but he ignores her, feeling she will not use him to make her career. However, Kate arrives at his home to push her position in person, believing a tour would push sales to stratospheric levels. However, his traveling phobia has more to do with a certain vampiric condition that makes him need to hide somewhat from the public, though Kate pushes him to attend the RT convention. Soon Luc wants to come out of the vampire closet because he has the craving to write one more happy ending love story starring himself and his editor.
