Going to school 6 days a week takes away to much family time. As it is with both parent working and busy lives theres not enough family time. Hope that helps.

My husband didn't grow up in America and he went to school 6 days a week. Some American schools want to cut it down to 4 days a week.

actually, based on the orient. the Chinese go to school 6 days a week all year. their education level is 3 times that of the united states, so to answer your question a better education.

That would suck and then kids wont have no free time if they take weekends. students arent going towant to do schoolwork or participate in class assignments the highs school drop out rate would go back up and probably be highest in years if they took away kids saturday or sundays

A good reason would be cause they have ADD, or cant pay attention and 5 days isn't enough.

um, apparently it would be Great for you. you could use the extra day for Just Spelling and Grammar.
